Changing your browser from 64 bit to 32 bit.

  • Changing your browser from 64 bit to 32 bit.

    If you've ended up with the 64 bit version of a browser, it is best that you change to the 32 bit version as you will have less issues using that. The game isn't designed for the 64 browser, and while it may work now it doesn't mean that it won't work later.

    In this thread we are supplying instructions for changing over the following browsers:

    Chrome
    Firefox

    We are yet to put together instructions for IE, Edge and Safari.

    If you use a Mac, we are still currently looking for an appropriate you guys to use.

    Instructions for Chrome


    Unintstall the 64 bit version of Chrome from your computer. Make sure that you save your bookmarks first though so you don't lose them.

    Instructions on saving your bookmarks for Chrome are here:

    Go to the following site:
    https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/


    At the bottom of the screen, select "Other platforms"



    Then choose the 32 bit version under "Download for another Desktop OS"



    Save the file, then install as usual and import your bookmarks from where you saved them.

      Go to the following site:
      https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

      Click on Advanced Install options and other platforms.


      Then Click on Windows 32 bit from the list


      Save the file, then install as usual and import your bookmarks from where you saved them.
